This is My Journey.

A Life Across Worlds

I grew up in the Black Forest, surrounded by mountains, trees, and a childhood free from worries.
I was deeply privileged — and even as a teenager, I knew it.
Music became my early teacher. I remember lying on my bed, listening to Dangerous by Michael Jackson,
painting posters with peace signs and wondering:
“Why do some children not live as freely and safely as I do? What can I do to change that?”

That question never left me.

From Corporate to Conscious Leadership

Years later, I found myself in Los Angeles on the set of a multi-million-euro campaign with Arnold Schwarzenegger. We were about to spend nearly 100 million Euros to convince people
to what I would say switch to “nuclear-power-masked-as-some-kinda-regenerative-electricity.”

The same month I had had challenges putting together a low cost shooting for a social initiative campaigning for children’s rights.

And all I could think was:
“This is not right. I can’t be part of this. This is not why I’m here.”

I left the world of advertising behind to create something real — something that mattered.
Since then, I’ve co-founded or guided projects that impact millions of lives:

Impact Spotlight: Utopia.de

Interestingly with the exact same people only couple of years later we formed Utopia.de,
and pioneered a platform that brought sustainability into the mainstream.
By connecting millions of people with conscious lifestyle choices, brands, and solutions, we made it easier for everyday actions to have global impact. We even had a campaign activating people to switch to the real regenerative electricity companies of the time.
Utopia taught me that change becomes irresistible when it’s simple, practical, and inspiring.

Impact Spotlight: Viva con Agua

Through Utopia I met Benjamin Adrion from Viva con Agua. And this encounter happened to be one of the most important of my professional journey - I started to support the team with my expertise and collaborated in many different ways for the first ten years. Supporting the forming of the Viva con Agua Water Company and the Viva con Agua foundation, later co-founding Viva con Agua California and supporting Viva con Agua South Africa - participating in the transformation of an early impact-driven project into a global social business ecosystem is one of the most meaningful chapters of my journey. What began as a grassroots initiative in Germany grew into a global movement, bringing clean drinking water to millions of people. Through music, art, and sports, we turned fundraising into joyful activism — creating a culture of giving that inspired thousands to contribute.
I learned that impact grows fastest when it’s rooted in joy and community.

Impact Spotlight: GoTeach by DHL Deutsche Post, SOS Children’s Villages & Teach For All

For more than 15 years, I collaborated with Deutsche Post DHL on the global GoTeach program, helping young people from challenging backgrounds access education and career opportunities. Together with SOS Children’s Villages and Teach For All, we built activities, mentoring and training programs that have reached over 300,000 children in 70 countries. This work showed me that when we invest in the potential of the next generation, entire communities transform.

Impact Spotlight: Social Impact Lab Hamburg

As the leader of Social Impact Lab Hamburg, I supported over 50 social startups, helping founders scale their ideas into powerful solutions for education, equality, and social entrepreneurship. These projects reminded me that innovation thrives where passion and purpose meet smart structure.

Roots, Spirit, and Transformation

Whenever I need clarity, I return to the Black Forest. The mountains ground me, remind me of my roots, and help me find perspective before making big decisions.

My spirit home, however, is Kaua‘i. From the moment I first set foot there, I felt an inner knowing: This is home. The people I met that first day are still my closest friends. The teachings of my spiritual mentor Charlotte — and the synchronicities surrounding her passing — confirmed what I had already started to feel: life is not random. It is guiding us, if we choose to listen.

Right before the pandemic, I was ready to relocate to Kaua‘i. But instead, life led me to South Africa, where I found another community of kindred souls — my chosen family. Both places are where I go to align my frequency, soak up the wisdom of the land, and recharge my purpose.

Lessons from the Path

My life has been a constant dance between freedom and responsibility.
At times, I feel unsettled, stretched between continents and the people I love.
And then I remind myself: this is the life I chose — a life of privilege, freedom, and deep service.

Whenever I’m in transition, I hear the inner questions:
How will I survive? How will I make enough money? What about security?

I’ve learned to sit with those questions — to see them not as enemies but as signals.
They are the voice of old patterns and wounds asking to be heard and cleared.
This is what led me to The Spiral, an emotional clearing modality so transformative
that I became a practitioner myself - and that changed my life.

A Catalyst for Growth

For over 20 years, Hamburg was my home base — until I took a leap of faith and left. I discovered that true transformation often requires letting go: of jobs, of places, even of people.

I’ve learned that we become the average of the five people we spend the most time with.

Whenever I moved to a new city or joined a new community, I saw how different I became — how much possibility lives in being truly seen as who you are now, not who you were ten years ago.

Why I Do This Work

My biggest challenge has always been putting myself out there. I’m not the main character in most stories — I’m the mirror, the guide, the advisor.
My greatest impact is created when I empower others to realize their dreams.

This is why I decided to write my first book, You Are What The World Needs Now — a memoir, a guide, and a manifesto for creating change from within. I share parts of this journey in my Substack, inviting my community to follow along, read early chapters, and hold me accountable to finishing this work.

What I Believe

I believe that life’s magic happens when we surrender to the not-knowing.
When we trust, the right people and opportunities show up. My life has been proof of this —
from co-creating impact-driven projects like Viva con Agua and GoTeach, to being invited into rooms where extraordinary, purpose-led visions were born.

And even on the days when it feels hard or unclear, I know this: being in service isn’t about getting what you want — it’s about becoming who you are meant to be.
